GET TO KNOW ME
After becoming licensed as a sales associate in 1979, Evelyn worked part-time until her third and youngest son Ben entered high school. Upon being licensed as a Broker in 1993, part-time was soon full-time, and she has since been an integral part of Guerrant Real Estate. Her professional training was enhanced by earning the designation as a Graduate of REALTORS® Institute (GRI). Evelyn has been an active member of the Central Kentucky Association of REALTORS®, has served on its Board of Directors and as its President, and is a member of the Lexington Bluegrass Association of REALTORS®.
A 1975 graduated of Western Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in home economics, Evelyn's training has been invaluable in assisting families to select the right home to meet their needs. A tireless volunteer, Evelyn began serving the community by immersing herself in volunteer roles at her children's schools. Since then, she has served in the Rotary Club, as Campaign Chair and President for the Heart of Kentucky United Way, four years as Director and Chair of United Way of Kentucky, as Elder, Deacon, and Chair of the Administrative Board at First Christian Church Disciples of Christ, and spent three years as Chair of the Board of Directors of Ephraim McDowell Health.
